I love games, legos and reading! In the summer I love taking kids swimming, playing water balloons and playing with chalk outside. Teaching kids to swim, cook and generally try new things is something I feel very passionate about and I love seeing their successes and helping them through their struggles.

My experience with special needs children...
My first ever job (I was 17!) was working for a family with a little girl who had Aspergers. She was 6 and so wonderful. She was being raised by her grandparents and together we created a schedule and system for helping her get through day to day life. I was only her nanny for a year, but it was transformational for me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making homemade pizzas with three little boys that I nannied. It brought them all so much joy and it was so fun; they talked about it for months afterwards <3
