Hi! I’m Samantha. I’m 19, and I’ve lived in Dallas my whole life. I’m currently in college studying Business Management and looking for part-time nanny work that can fit with my school schedule. I’ve always loved working with kids and have cared for them from a young age.

In 5th grade, I helped care for pre-K children before my classes, and I’ve also babysat family members ages 2–8. I’m comfortable with meals, bedtime routines, homework, baths if needed, playtime, crafts, reading, and keeping things tidy. I’m CPR, AED, and First Aid certified and have a Pre-Professional Certification in Early Childhood Development. I also volunteer at my local library, where I help with children’s reading time.

I have experience caring for children of different ages and have always enjoyed working with kids. In 5th grade, I helped care for pre-K children in the mornings before my classes, led activities, and made sure they were safe and comfortable. I’ve also babysat children in my family ages 2–8, helping with meals, bath time, bedtime routines, homework, playtime, crafts, reading, and keeping their spaces clean and organized. I enjoy creating fun, age-appropriate activities and giving children plenty of attention while keeping a consistent routine. I also volunteer at my local library, where I help with children’s reading time. My caregiving experience has taught me to be patient, responsible, calm, and attentive to each child's and adult's needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love sharing fun, creative, and educational activities with children. I’ve been swimming since I was 6 months old, which helps build confidence, coordination, and water safety. I’ve also enjoyed rock climbing for years, which teaches balance, focus, and problem-solving. Drawing and crafts encourage creativity and fine motor skills, while reading and homework help build language, focus, and confidence.

I especially love science museums because they encourage curiosity and help kids learn about the world and the mysteries of the universe. I also enjoy zoos and aquariums because they teach children about wildlife, marine life, and caring for our planet. Trips to the park are another favorite because outdoor play builds physical skills, independence, social skills, and curiosity through exploring nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny is about more than just watching a child. I want kids to feel safe, comfortable, and excited to spend time with me while also learning something new along the way. I’m naturally patient, playful, and creative, so I love turning everyday activities into little learning opportunities. Whether we’re reading, doing crafts, playing outside, or exploring something new, I want to help them grow while still having fun.

I also know that being a nanny means being there for the whole family. I want to make a parent’s day a little easier by being dependable, helping with routines, keeping things organized, and giving them peace of mind while they’re away. Most of all, I want to build a relationship where the kids enjoy having me around, and the parents know they can truly count on me.
