Hi, my name is Samara, and I’m 22 years old. I recently graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Throughout my academic journey, my dream has always been to work with babies or children. I have a deep love for children—especially newborns—and feel called to care for them during their most delicate moments. I grew up in a large, close-knit family, which sparked my passion for caregiving early on. At 14, I began babysitting for families in my neighborhood, and over the years, I developed strong communication, patience, and nurturing skills. These experiences, combined with my nursing education, have inspired me to eventually pursue a career in pediatric or neonatal nursing. I want to be the nurse who comforts, advocates, and brings joy to young patients and their families. I’m excited to begin this next chapter and make a positive, lasting impact in the lives of children.
