I am Samiyah Thomas I am Currently a senior at Prairie view A&M university and I am a psychology major . I am hoping to become a child’s psychologist so I very much love children of all ages. Babies have a special spot in my heart for sure. I am the Second oldest of my moms 5 kids so I have definitely helped take care of babies and younger kids. I am all around very caring I love having fun and playing games I am also pretty good at math and english so I can also help with homework.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My mom actually used to run a day care and I was in charge of reading to the kids sometimes prepping meals as well as accompanying them on feild trips helping as well as just playing around with them any chance I got.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to the park and cooking and teaches kids skills . So if I happen to become a nanny for a female child I first would like to see exactly what they are into and hopefully we have a few things in common like I used to be a cheerleader and I used to play volleyball so we can perfect her skills that way. Or if she wants to be better and at basketball I’m not all that tall but we can work on it together. If I happen to become a nanny for a boy we will probably always be at the park throwing the football or playing basketball flipping and doing cartwheels anything that will keep them energized while tiring them so they are able to get a good nights sleep.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Caring for the children and creating bonds with them and helping them In whatever ways you can . Helping them to grow as a person and an individual and all around encouraging and uplifting them.

My experience with special needs children...

I am originally from Fort Worth Texas and my grandma actually owns a day hab where she cares for special needs adults and I have learned from volunteering their how to care for them as well .

The most important part about being a nanny...

I remember taking my younger brother (7) ,sister (3) and his Bestfriend (6) to main event entertainment and we were bowling and they rolled the ball onto someone else’s lane and got a strike and the people beside us couldn’t be mad because they got a strike and it was just all around funny .
