I’m an artist in Columbus! I have worked at a paint and sip teaching people how to paint and more recently I worked at a daycare, I love kids and I’m really passionate about giving every kid a good experience with learning!
I can work with any age range of kid. And if I’m your nanny I’m definitely going to do a bunch of activities with your kids instead of setting them in front of a screen the whole time, kids are extraordinarily creative and it’s important to foster that. Working with kids it’s important to be someone that the kids feel comfortable around but also someone they can look up to and learn how to be an adult from.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a daycare, I jumped around to all the classrooms but I was mainly with the pre k kids, I feel like what I was best at was talking with the kids and playing with them and teaching them things they actually wanted to learn, everyone has a thirst for knowledge and you just have to find out what you want to learn about!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I always to a bunch of crafts with them! Drawing, painting, cutting out paper dolls or flowers out of paper, at my old job I also used to save paper towels rolls so they could make instruments or whatever they wanted! I also love doing physical activity’s with them, yoga, stretching, teaching them how to cartwheel, somersault or handstand! And I love playing with them, picking up a toy and delving into the world they are creating with them, I feel like being involved with the play is very important you can teach things in the moment. I understand for lots of people it’s hard for them to really get involved like that but It’s kinda my favorite thing just to watch kids play and see how imaginative they are with out even trying!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To be honest I haven’t been a nanny before but I’d imagine it’s really important to build a relationship with each kid, I’d imagine I’d be a big part of these kids life’s and I’d want them to feel comfortable and safe around me!
