I have worked with Autistic kids in the past volunteering at ACTC's Summer Kid's Camp.
I was warned over and over about how difficult the autistic kid was.
I wasn't put off by peoples' warnings and everyone was amazed at how well I did with the child. I learned a lot from the experience.
I was able to get him to participate in group activities with very little fuss.
