I have spent time as a volunteer at Vanderbilt’s children’s hospital for a play therapy experience, spending time with children in the oncology, hematology, and other departments offering play and attention so families could join or take breaks. I have been a camp counselor for the YMCA at Camp Widjiwagan, leading groups and activities for children from ages 4-16. These activities included water sports, rock climbing, camping, theater, and sports. I have also been a lifeguard and ropes certified to guide and oversee swimming and low/high ropes courses. I have also been working in wilderness therapy and Cumberland Heights to work with youth where health and safety is of top priority. I am experienced in wilderness safety and creating memories and educational experiences from nature and every day experiences.

I have worked for approximately a year as a certified RBT using a person-centered and ABA approach to help children with developmental goals. I have also babysat and worked at a school as a direct care staff for 4-15 year olds with ASD and other different abilities.
