More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have two adult daughters. I homeschooled my daughters, which gave me a strong understanding of children’s developmental stages and needs at different ages. While homeschooling my daughters, I also cared for other children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors. I love spending time outside, exploring nature, and encouraging active play. I am playful, energetic, and enjoy participating in activities alongside children. I also enjoy arts and crafts, educational board games, reading, and creative learning experiences. I can plan and organize age-appropriate activities based on each child’s interests, developmental needs, and abilities, creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My mother worked as a nanny to help support my siblings and me through college, and thanks to her dedication, we all became professionals. Her example inspired my passion for childcare and continues to guide my work today. As a nanny, I care for children with love, dedication, and respect, treating them as if they were my own. Watching them grow into happy, confident, and capable individuals is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs in inclusive classroom settings. Throughout my teaching career, I have regularly worked with students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and have carefully followed their individualized goals, accommodations, and support plans based on their specific needs. I have successfully supported students with specific learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other learning challenges. I am committed to creating a supportive, patient, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most rewarding experiences as a nanny was caring for my best friend’s daughter, who grew up alongside my own daughter. They developed a close bond and became like sisters, and today they remain the best of friends. It was a privilege to play a role in her growth and development and to witness the lasting friendship they built together.
