I love doing art activities with kids, it’s so amazing every time to see how they create from such a brand new perspective. Human beings were always meant to raise our children in community with each other. Small children are actively developing their lifelong blueprint for attachment and connection, while also developing a sense of self. Childhood relationships form the way that we relate to people for the rest of our lives. Having caregivers who are able to attune to you as a little human being learning how to socialize and connect during this time is so vital to setting kids up for success. Safe adults in addition to primary parents in a support circle are vital for kids’ healthy development, as well as the mental health of the parents.
