A little bit about me

I'm a fourth year medical student at the University of Iowa, and I recently applied for emergency medicine residency. I have recently completed work in the pediatric ICU and have consistently integrated pediatric time in most of my rotations. I spent high school and college summers as a swim instructor, teaching either private lessons or group lessons. My kids were aged 2.5 years old to 16 years old. I have also seen children while working in the emergency department as a medical scribe, volunteering with youth and shelter services, and was the built-in nanny of the family as the oldest of the cousins. My schedule is inconsistent, so I’d be the best fit for a family seeking an occasional babysitter or someone to pick up/drop off kids from time to time. I’ll be out of town quite a bit over the holiday season.

I love board games, puzzles, and I'm happy to do learning activities with your kids. I enjoy going on walks, taking kids to the park, or going on hikes on nearby trails. My favorite winter-time activity is driving around to look at holiday displays and going sledding!
