I am currently a special education teacher in an inclusive setting supporting students with a variety of academic, behavior, and emotional needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy a variety of arts and crafts in addition to exploring nature through art. I also love the outdoors and aim to play outside with children as often as the weather will permit.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is ensuring each child is safe and properly cared for. I want my families to trust that their children are in good hands.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a wide range of experience working with children with various disabilities. My classroom setting is inclusive, meaning general education students are fully integrated with students of various needs including Autism, ADHD, Other Health Impairment, and Specific Learning Disorder. I incorporate positive behavior supports into my daily practice to ensure all students feel safe and free to express themselves while also holding them to high expectations.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I babysat a young man recently who was extremely adverse to eating food of any kind. His parents and nanny warned me that he was very picky and would often avoid eating or try to skip meals altogether. As dinner time approached, I prepared a few foods that were recommended by family. Then I invited him and his brother to play a blind taste test game. He was reluctant at first, but after explaining the rules and offering a reward for the winner (winner got to choose our next activity), he was willing to participate. He tried every food, was eager to taste more as the game progressed, and ate all of two items offered. It was a huge win, and we had such a great time playing and exploring!

Hi, I’m Kendall. I've been working with little kids for a while, from helping out in the kindergarten department when I was in middle school to helping others with their kids and siblings! In addition to my dedication to my high school education in the Fall of 2026 I’m going to be taking a nursing class and at the end of the [phone number hidden] school year I’ll be a CNA. I’m in my schools National Honor Society chapter and would absolutely love the opportunity to hang out with your kiddos! I do have a background check through CBI.

I am a friendly, kind, hardworking, and dedicated person. I love the outdoors, meeting new people, and staying active. I grew up in a family of eight. I have five siblings myself and am the second oldest in my family. I've experienced taking care of my siblings at a young age, babysitting them, feeding them, cleaning around the house, and taking them places, whether it's to the park, the museum, their sports practices and games, to school, or on a fun trip. I love to be helpful in any way. I am also a college student who is able to handle school, work, and my social life. I am pretty good at multitasking and focusing on the important things.
