I teach 3-4 year olds at a daycare in Opelika and I love every second of it! I have also taught 1 year olds as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
There are many fun things to do with children! Since I have worked at a daycare going on 3 years, I have learned many indoor activities and outdoor activities to keep the children learning while also being active! Such things include learning to write their names in shaving cream on a table, hop scotch, teaching them songs to remember their colors and alphabet, fun dances to keep them active, fun ways to trace and write letters, etc.

The most important thing about being a teacher/nanny is developing a relationship with them to better understand their needs. I have loved developing a relationship with all of the children and parents. Each child is unique and special in their own way and learning about them is so fun!

I have worked with many autistic children and learned the patience it takes to understand and teach a child with such needs.

There are so many memories I can recall from the past few years. Funny things children have said or done. I think one of my favorite memories working with children is during the summer of last year, we rented a water slide and the children had a blast!
