I take initiative well; if they need a snack I will know, if their nails need to be clipped I will do it without being told, if they have a project to be completed I will start without being told. Point is I do no wait on the families to tell me everything I need to do. I do not just stick to the outlined duties based on the discussed compensation. I do these things because I genuinely love kids and always do my job or any task well.I was an English teacher and also have classroom experience. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to do arts and crafts, dance parties, read, music, worksheets and baking are just some of the indoor activities I do with children to actively engage their brain. This helps to foster their imagination and creativity. When the weather is nice and warm outside I like to have something funand simple up mysleeves to keep them engaged. Some of these ctivities are water activities, sporty activities such as running and basketball, outdoor art projects and outdoor sensory activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The nurturing aspect of the job is the most rewarding. There is a great feeling of being able to wholesomlely connect on a deep level, build a safe, loving environment for a child. I appreciate also the opportunity to be able to express my creativity and imagination during play time. I am also fond of helping children learn and grow and the love I receive back from the children in my care is often worth much more than the paycheck.

I have some experience with special needs. This was only for about three months.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I once had a 3 year old I cared for who asked me "how are you" after i was sick for about three days. This extremely sweet and memorable because nobdy else asked.
