A little bit about me

My name is Sarah. I am a wife and a mother to two little ones! I currently work full-time as a pharmacy technician while my husband works full-time as a logistics coordinator. I am a very positive, kind, compassionate, fun-loving, and energetic person. I love being with kids because of their unique personalities and imagination. I love getting down on their level and remembering what it was like to be little, carefree, fearless and bold. I love seeing their development grow. I also love getting to see them grow up to be the best kiddos that they can be. I am a strong believer in gentle parenting. I believe in getting down on their level and calmly explaining to them the situation to their knowledge and understanding. I am looking for part-time positions during the mid/late evenings on the weekdays and I am available on the weekends. I'm hoping to eventually become full-time and would love to work for a family long-term.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with infants and toddlers in the nursery, children during youth group and those that attened AWANA and VBS.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Coloring, drawing, painting, crafts, building blocks, workbook activities, sensory and development skills as well as going outside to play at the park, go on the playground, kick the soccerball around, playing catch, pretty much anything that involves being outdoors so the kids can get a breath of fresh air and soak up the sun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I'd have to say my favorite part about being a nanny is just the bond and the relationships that I create with the children as well as the parents. I just love watching your child(ren) growing up to be the best version of themselves and getting to see the milestones that they go through and the obstacles and challenges that they overcome. It's the best feeling in the world to get to witness all of that as well as hoping in some way I have made a positive impact in their lives.
