Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For multiple summers in a row around age 14 I was a camp counselor for children ages 3-9.
I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old! Every summer break I would work part-time as a babysitter for multiple families in my neighborhood.
Once I got older and able to drive I began full-time nanny jobs. Most recently was a family with two girls under age 7. I was their full-time nanny two summers in a row. I loved working closely with this family. I assisted with household chores, transportation, tutoring, nap-times, bed-times, meal prepping, etc! I love to organize and so every few weeks would deep clean the girls bedrooms and play areas. I even went on trips with them to watch the girls while the parents worked or relaxed.
For the past year and a half I have been working as a waitress! I am eager to get back into the nanny lifestyle.

I love to go on walks, and bike rides and so I love to incorporate that with the children I take care of.
I love a good picnic at a park or a trip to a museum or nature center!
I am an artist at heart and will always choose crafting time over iPad time for any child I watch.
Anything educational or anything that gets kids bodies moving outside!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think being a good role model is the most important. Children are like sponges and will mimic what they see! I try to lead with an accepting, kind and calm attitude!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I got to accompany one of my girls to her preschool "graduation" while her parents were away and when she got her little diploma she shouted: "Look Sarah!" with a big smile on her face. It was awesome.
