More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a medical assistant for a pediatric office. I worked there for a year then moved to san marcos with the intent of getting out of the medical field and going back to school to become a teacher. I now work at a daycare but would like to have open creativity and more time to focus on school while doing what I love.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking them to play in mud and water, children should be children and have fun in the outdoors. I also love painting with them; it is so cute and fun when they are proud of their masterpieces. I also love going outside playing going to the park and doing dance parties!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being able to provide one help to the parents and two being able to be there for the children and be a part of someone they can trust and look up to as. We also play an important role as making the children feel seen and heard when we spend the day together one on one.

My experience with special needs children...

When I worked in the pediatric office I was able to work with the children who have special needs and I learned how to talk to them carefully and how their emotions work especially when they are of a younger age. At the daycare I work at we also have a few children who are of special needs, and I have learned how they are just little emotional friends that just need more time of one on one and more time to process their emotions.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting this little boy who was 4 years old during the summer and we took out all of the water balloons together and filled them all up and tried making a fort out of them but of course they all eventually popped on us, but we had the most fun ever.
