A little bit about me

I currently work at a local child development center, and provide services for children with developmental disabilities. I have experience working with infants through middle-schoolers, but connect best with the 5 and under crowd. I have roughly 10 years of babysitting/part-time nanny experience, and absolutely love working with kids! I am a big advocate for imaginative, creative play and am always up for reading a book, or ten. I am CPR/First Aid Certified, and have a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family Relations, and have significant experience working with young children with and without developmental disabilities. I am currently in grad school studying Early and Special Education. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently work at a local Reggio inspired child development center. Before this I worked with children with developmental disabilities through a local agency, and have been nannying/babysitting for nearly 10 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

With kids, I love to sing, go for walks, go on adventures to local parks/libraries, read books, do yoga, arts and crafts, etc! I love finding new ways to keep our time together fun and exciting, while also helping the kids to learn and develop.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love getting to work with young children, and see their excitement and wonder as they learn new things and explore the world. I also love seeing them meet new milestones as they grow and develop.
