I have worked in an after-school leadership academy where I assisted with elementary-aged children in the improvement of reading skills, tutoring, and leadership qualities. The goal of the program was to instill confidence and a passion to lead in the students that attended.
I have also worked in two early education centers where I assisted teachers in classrooms with curriculum instruction.
I have experience also working in the neurodevelopment department of a private school where the team and I would assess all incoming students on their current standing visually, auditorily, and developmentally. We then created custom plans for students that had areas in which they could improve and worked with those students weekly.

The most important part about being a nanny is helping to create competent, confident, and independent children. I love seeing children grow into their authentic selves, and I consider it a privilege to be a part of that process.

I have experience with children on the autism spectrum, as my younger brother has an ASD diagnosis. I also have experience with ASD and learning disabilities in an academic setting, as many of the children I worked with in the neurodevelopment center had these diagnoses.
