I have two years experience of babysitting and nannying. I have also volunteered for a children’s choir that I used to be a member of when I was a young. I have volunteered at many of my church’s nurseries and Sunday schools. I also have experience in working with children with special needs. I am currently certified in CPR and first aid.

My experience with special needs children...
I nannied for a young boy with autism during the height of Covid. This included preparing meals, helping him with schoolwork, reading with him, and taking him swimming which he adored. All the schooling he received at the time was online so I was present for most of his classes. His passion was drawing and sculpting clay. He loved to draw me a new picture every day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory of the kids I used to nanny was the dance videos they used to coordinate. They loved music and would dance all the time. One of my girls who was six at the time, also loved putting makeup on me and doing my hair. We loved playing dress up and it’s always a memory that makes me laugh.
