More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My very first job was being a nanny for a family with two children ages five and eight. I was with the children for 24 hours 4-5 days a week as the parents worked as EMTS. I helped with school work, and prepped school lunches and breakfast and dinner. Light house cleaning was not requested or required but I always helped with what I could to not only help the children but the parents as well so that they could have that quality time with their children when they are home. I took the children to their extracurricular activities such as baseball practices and games and dance practices.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love coming up with DIY activities to do that can create a creative perspective for the child and also have educational purposes built into the activity as well. Going outside so the child is not in the house all day to build social skills and to create a fun imagination of anything you can make of it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a fun, loving, and safe environment for the children when their main safe place is away from home. It has always been my priority to make them feel little to no changes in their everyday schedules.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a nanny is creating that relationship with the children letting them know that I am also a safe place and is safe under my care. The biggest part that I always enjoyed was watching them grow up and achieve all of the milestones and more.
