Hello! My name is Sarah. I am 22 years old and I've been working with children since 2021. Originally from San Diego, I moved to Arizona in 2012, and I'm very excited to be back in Southern California! I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work with an emphasis on early childhood development from Arizona State University in 2023. After college, I worked as an assistant teacher in a Montessori preschool, where I had the pleasure of working with 1-3 year olds. I am currently working as an assistant teacher at a Laguna Beach preschool working with children 6 months-4 years old. In my free time, I enjoy making music, going to the beach, drawing, thrifting, and tattooing. I love art, cooking, and music. All of which I would bring into my work with your child(ren). The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the best memories I have while working with kids was at my first daycare. It had rained earlier in the day and there were quite a bit of big puddles around the school. During aftercare, only three kids were left and we decided to go for a walk. At the end of the walk by the front door there was a huge puddle. I told the kids they could jump in it for a second. I did not know one jump could get a kid soaked! All three wet from head to toe, and all of their parents show up early, at the same time. We ran inside to change. Once finally done the parents told me how happy it made them to see the kids “being kids” and to not feel bad for them being wet because they had a lot of fun. It was really sweet and made me believe in myself more as a childcare provider.
