Look at the stars and imagine what's out there, make shapes out of the clouds, listen to the birds and learn what type of bird is singing, use unique items to make crafts, bake and cook, build robots even if they don't work properly, look at the bugs in the grass and the trees... explore and be curious. I taught my kids colors, numbers, shapes, letters, math, and probability simply by grocery shopping. Explore the entire world. I really really adore babies and toddlers; I had 4 kids under the age of 5.
