Growing up, I had several close friends with autism, which gave me an early appreciation for the importance of patience, understanding, and inclusion. Throughout my years working at summer camps, I've also worked closely with multiple children with developmental and physical disabilities, helping ensure they felt supported, included, and able to fully participate in activities. These experiences have strengthened my passion for working with children of all abilities, and after earning my Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree, I hope to work in pediatric occupational therapy with children with special needs.
