A little bit about me

A student at University of Washington, looking for a part time nanny job to accompany me while I am in my studies!

I recently moved to Hawaii in the beginning of August from Washington, where I was born and raised. I love Washington but it sure is nice to be in the sun!

I love everything adventure. I grew up skiing in Washington, my dad taught me. He was also very into music and took me to a lot of concerts, and shared the love with me. I love to travel and go camping and I hope to see the world in its entirety! In July I went to a festival in Lake tahoe and it was great.

I grew up around so many kids because of my huge family. When I was six i got my first little sister, again at 9. I helped my mom with everything to do with my baby sisters- they were like my baby dolls! Ever since then, I have loved kids and babysat for many families around me. I nannied as well for my family friend and for my neighbor.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking kids to the park, hiking, and swimming. I think going outdoors and exploring as a child is so important in this new age of technology. I also love the zoo/aquarium and find it very beneficial to kids and their learning!

While indoors I love to read books, whether it’s picture books or chapter books. I also love building forts and watching movies. Dance parties are also always fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the child is safe, knows they are loved, and has fun! Communication with the parents is also so important.

My favorite nanny moments is when the kids don’t want me to go home, they would rather me stay. It warms my heart, makes me feel so special and know that I did my job right.
