Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have also been a camp counselor two different times. Once at the summer arts conservatory where I was a film camp counselor and had 4 children in my group. I helped them record, script and edit their own films. Another time I was a camp counselor for a small arts and crafts summer camp that was hosted for all girls. I helped them do activities such as sewing and print making.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy getting kids to be creative so I love drawing with them or using chalk. I like to bring crayons to nanny or babysitting jobs I have so the kids can use them however they see fit. I also like getting kids to exercise and run around such as going to the park or playground.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is making the kids happy. Making sure that they’re enjoying themselves and having the best time. I think as a nanny it’s my job to make sure that the children I watch are comfortable, happy and understood.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I was watching a set of twins and their little brother. Their little brother was a year old at the time and it took him a long time to get warmed up to me. But once he finally did he would sit in my lap and let me read to him and it truly made me so happy that now he was comfortable with me!
