I taught children's church and I worked at my church's daycare for 3 years. I had a group most Sundays and Wednesdays at around 10-18 kids, ranging from ages 3-6.

Playing outside, playing music with my ukulele or guitar. Reading, learning how to make easy snacks or food.. also playing board games.
My experience with special needs children...
At 15 I watched my younger cousin who at the time was 6 years old. She was blind, couldn't walk or sit up very well on her own. I gave her sponge bathes, played with toys and music... taught her how to count and we both made each other laugh so much.
