Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat my cousins a lot over the last years when the parents were not home. I also have always been good with kids. In allied health program, we go to the elementary school sometimes and I help assist around the classroom and help the kids. I also have a little brother and I help him; he is 11 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love watching movies with children and playing board games with them. Art is also super fun, doing arts and crafts with kids is something that I love being part of. I also really love music, when I was a little girl my babysitter always had mini dance parties with me. She would put on a song and we would dance to the music. Reading has also been a huge part of my life. Reading to children is something I really enjoy and hope to do more.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a babysitter for me, is seeing that overtime a child grows and eventually by the end of the night the child is happy. Seeing when children are happy, makes me happy which is a beautiful thing. It also feels really good when the family is happy that you did a successful job watching the children. Child safety is also very important making sure that they are content and safe.
