More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an assistant infant/toddler teacher for over a year and currently I am a floater teacher meaning I have been working with all ages from 6weeks-8years old for about half a year now. Also, before I was a teacher, I had loads of experience with just taking care of family members, mostly my baby cousins, and as an older sister, my younger siblings as well. I was often surrounded by kids younger then me and usually the lead helper in the house to care for them; Whether that meant entertaining them, bath time, feeding them or even coddling time when they just needed a little extra loving.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love arts and crafts, and letting the child enjoy themselves however that may be while they are outside or in their own home.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Caring for and protecting the child, while also making sure their needs are met and heard. Also making sure the child is having fun and learning new things. Also making sure to communicate with parents as needed about the child’s well-being.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children is very limited, as I do have a 4 year old cousin with autism that I helped take care of plenty of times. I trust myself a lot, and would love to help out in the best way that I can, when it comes to your child.
