Passionate and dedicated childcare professional with over six years of experience working with children of all ages, including those with special needs. I began my professional journey in January of 2024 at an ABA center, where I gained hands-on experience supporting children with autism. Since July of 2024, I have been working as an assistant school teacher, specializing in special education and providing individualized support to students with diverse needs.

My journey with childcare started at 16 when I began babysitting my cousins and neighbors’ kids, building a strong foundation of patience, responsibility, and creativity. I am committed to fostering positive, nurturing environments where children feel safe and supported.

At the ABA center, I had the opportunity to work with children with autism, helping them grow through individualized activities that supported their development. As an assistant teacher in a special education classroom, I provide support to students with unique needs, helping create a positive and encouraging learning environment. I’ve been babysitting my cousins and neighbors’ kids since I was 16, and I truly enjoy creating fun, safe, and caring experiences for them.

I love engaging children in activities that stimulate their senses and creativity while also fostering their development. Whether it’s creating sensory bins with rice and toys, reading interactive books with vibrant pictures, or guiding them through simple movement games, my goal is always to make learning fun and accessible. I enjoy incorporating calming activities like bubble popping or soft music to help children feel at ease, and I’m passionate about creating a nurturing environment where they can explore, grow, and have fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with many different kinds of special needs children, some of which were children with either challenging behaviors or lower functioning autism. My full time job includes me working with and teaching children with autism, so I’m learning new things everyday that helps me stay well rounded and informed with new skills and ideas that may help them develop.
