One of my favorite nanny moments was when the little girl I was watching proudly “made me breakfast” and it was a plastic cookie, a wooden egg, and a cup of invisible tea. She set it all on a napkin, looked me right in the eyes and said, “I made it with love, so it’s extra healthy.” That’s when I knew I was in this job for life!
