The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong and nurturing relationship with the children you care for. It's about creating a safe and loving environment where they can grow, learn, and feel supported. Being patient, understanding, and attentive to their needs is key. It's also important to be a good communicator with both the children and their parents.

My experience with special needs children is my little brother. He has autism and adhd and at first growing up watching him it was very rough but as I continued to learn and take care of him I gained the ability to have patience and to be understanding. I also Learned empathy and the importance of individualized support.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Oh, I have a funny nanny moment to share you! One time, I was playing hide-and-seek with the kids I was babysitting. I found the perfect hiding spot behind a curtain, but when they came looking for me, they walked right past me without noticing! I had to stifle my laughter and eventually had to give them a little hint. We all had a good laugh about it afterward.
