Hello, my name is Sequoya, I am 19 years old with a 4 month old son and I am currently in school studying child development. I have 14 nieces and nephews in which I’ve been baby sitting since I was about 10 years old, their ages varying from 6 months to 10 years old. I am a certified STNA, and I am trained to give basic medical care. most people describe me as kind, caring and reliable. I enjoy being with children because I enjoy teaching valuable lessons, being creative, and giving children another person that they’re able to trust and depend on. I am a new mother so I completely understand that finding a trustworthy baby sitter can be quite scary, but I am here to assure you that I will always respect your wishes, and treat your children as I would treat my own. Most children enjoy being with me because I am naturally nurturing, I have high energy, I am understanding and patient enough to deal with children of all ages. I enjoy flying kites, blowing bubbles, any activity that involves water and swimming. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts and d.i.y activities. I know many learning games as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was volunteering in a daycare and I had a child give me a big hug and told me “you remind me of my nana, because you’re so sweet and warm inside.” It was the cutest, yet most kind thing he could’ve said at the time. I was simply happy for having an impact on his life.
