A little bit about me

My name is Serena Foster and I am 25 years of age. I’m originally from a small town in Iowa and loved the relocation. I’m from family of five and I’m the fifth sibling. Three years ago I applied to Principle Child Development Center & have learned so much from being a teacher here. I am a lead teacher and currently have my own classroom that provides care for 8 infants. I work with a co-teacher and we are at a 4 to 1 ratio. Since I have worked at the center I have created amazing connections with my children and their families, within the center and even helped them sometimes outside of the Center. When seeing a family and child everyday there is always a trustful relationship and bond that starts to grow and it is always heartbreaking when we have to send them on to the next classroom and age group to work with. Looking forward to spending time with one family and developing longer relationships with the ability to give my time full to the children I’m watching and their family.
