I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I also worked at a children’s party company as an entertainer for four years, and have been a camp counselor for the past four summers. I have experience with children of all ages, and children with special needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I can plan plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for the children. I am a very creative, hands on care giver. Some of my favorite activities to plan are parts and crafts projects, playing outside, board games, and imaginative play.

My experience with special needs children...

The summer camp I have worked at for the past four years has a special needs program. These children had disabilities of all ranges, physically and/or mentally. I assisted the children with their craft project, played games with them on the playground, and made sure all their needs were met. Furthermore, working as a children’s party entertainer helped me gain experience with assisting children with special needs in public settings.
