More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I cared for children includes over eight years of volunteer work at my church, where I have supported children from infants to 16 years old. This experience includes working with children with disabilities as well as typically developing children. I have provided one-on-one support, assisted with lessons and activities, supervised playtime, and ensured that children are safe, engaged, and included.
In addition, I have experience helping with routines such as meals, homework, and transitions between activities, while adapting my approach to meet each child’s individual needs. Through this work, I have developed strong patience, communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with both children and their families.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel valued and cared for. It’s about more than supervising—they need guidance, patience, and someone who listens and understands their needs. Building trust with both the children and their parents is essential, so families know their children are in dependable, compassionate hands. I believe being attentive, adaptable, and genuinely caring makes all the difference in helping children thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working with children with special needs through my volunteer work at my church over the past eight years. In this role, I provide one-on-one support to children with a variety of disabilities, helping them participate in activities, follow routines, and feel included in group settings. I adapt my approach to meet each child’s unique needs, using patience, encouragement, and clear communication to support their learning and development.
Working with special needs children has strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, be flexible, and create a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and understood. I find it incredibly rewarding to see children gain confidence, enjoy activities, and build meaningful relationships while knowing I’ve helped support their growth.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was spending time playing outside with the kids and seeing their personalities shine through. Whether we were running, playing games, or exploring nature, those moments allowed me to connect with each child in a meaningful way. Building relationships through play is incredibly rewarding, because it helps children feel safe, valued, and understood while allowing me to support their growth, confidence, and curiosity. Those outdoor moments often became some of the most memorable and joyful experiences for both the kids and me.
