The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children. It's essential to build trust and a strong bond with them, ensuring they feel loved and supported. Additionally, being patient and understanding their individual needs helps in guiding their growth and development effectively.

My experience with special needs children...

I remember volunteering at a summer camp for children with special needs. One of the children, Jamie, had autism and initially found it challenging to engage in group activities. Over time, we found that he loved music, so we incorporated musical games and activities into our daily routine. It was incredible to see him open up and express himself through music. This experience taught me a lot about patience, understanding, and the unique ways each child can connect and communicate.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time, I was nannying for a family, and the little boy I was watching decided he wanted to play dress-up. He came out of his room wearing his mom's high heels, a superhero cape, and a colander on his head like a helmet. He declared himself "Super Chef Man" and insisted on making us a pretend meal. We both ended up laughing so hard, and it was one of those moments that just made the whole day brighter.
