Hi! My name is Mya. I’m currently a high school student with plans to become a pediatric nurse, and I love opportunities to care for and positively impact children’s lives. I’m a caring, dependable, and patient caregiver who loves working with children. I’ve always enjoyed caring for children and helping them grow and learn.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel supported, respected, and encouraged to be themselves. Building a strong relationship with both the children and their family is something I value deeply.

My younger brother is autistic, so I have personal experience supporting a child with different needs. This has taught me patience, understanding, flexibility, and the importance of creating a calm, supportive environment where a child feels comfortable and valued.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments while caring for children is seeing them accomplish something they were proud of, whether it’s learning a new skill, finishing a craft, or simply smiling because they had a fun day. Knowing I helped create a happy and positive experience is always rewarding.
