Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked for Foothills Gymnastics during college. I was hired as a child care attendant for their after school program. Responsibilities included watching the kids to make sure they were safe, engaging in play time, and facilitating snack time. My current job at Denver Health & Fitness also has a "KidZone" that I will substitute for. Other than experience in a facility, I have lots of younger cousins that I have nannied/babysat. All of these experiences were with children 1 year and older.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As far as outside activities go, going for a walk, yoga/stretching, & sports (volleyball, baseball/softball, & basketball).
For indoor activities, I think cooking/preparing meals together would be fun, reading together, & coloring.

The most important thing about being a nanny is constantly being open to learning. In every moment, there is opportunity to grow and learn. Not only can I share knowledge with the child/children, but children can teach us a lot as well if we're open to receiving.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most memorable moment I have is when I worked at Foothills Gymnastics. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the gym temporarily closed in March of 2020. There was talk going around the gym about shutting down, and after that, the kids seemed to cling a little closer to me for the rest of my shift that day. It was a bittersweet moment, but to know that the kids were going to miss me was really heartwarming.
