A little bit about me

I'm a mother of 3 girls ages 14, 7 and 3 with some extra time to babysit. I'm a former nanny and au-pair. I've also worked in an after school program at an elementary school. I started babysitting at 10 for my younger sibilings, and then getting paid around 14 babysitting for other people. I was an au-pair in Denmark and lived there for 2 years before coming back to the states. I do crafts, watch movies, dance, cook, play games, kids yoga, or anything kiddos are interested in. I've always loved working with kids!

I've watched autistic and adhd kids, my own daughter is high functioning autistic, I use sign language to help communicate. I don't know it fluently but I am trying to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching the baby in Denmark, I had to put him in his baby carriage, wrap him all up and set it outside for naps, even in the winter. I watched 3 kids over night and the first half of the day. It was a great experience. I loved living there, it was breathtakingly beautiful.
