Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I began babysitting at the age of 13 and sat for multiple families and age groups. Throughout college and directly after I worked in childcare centers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

There's nothing I won't say no to! I'm a firm believer that reading is a hugely positive influence on children, but getting outside for exercise and imaginative play is essential too. Nature walks, science experiments and crafting (messes can always be cleaned up!), creating songs and dances, are great opportunities for both fun and learning.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat for a child on the autism spectrum, and have multiple family members with special needs. My experience is not extensive, but I am welcome and accepting that everyone's life is lived as their own, and people learn and grow best when they have supports that work for them!
