A little bit about me

I have been a stay at home mom since I was 23. I love children and have taken care of kids whether my own, neighbour's, family and many refugee camps and orphanages in south east Asia. I currently work for my special needs nephew on the weekends. Trust me there is no one better than me. I am the real life Peter pan. I have never had anyone who didn't like me. All my employers will tell you that I really am amazing. I will love your kids like my own. I would expect the same for someone I was hiring a nanny for my kids. I want you to know they will he happy and safe with me. I grew up in Hong Kong from the age of 1 till 25 . I'm an Australian/American. I was born in Australia. My Dad is Australian and was a world record holder for the 2 mile indoor. He came to the USA on scholarship and met my mum. I have traveled all over the world and worked with kids in all different parts of the world. Some in war zones, some millionaires children. I have seen it all.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for kids at Kai Tak refugee camp. Working in the nursery and creche. I have worked in Thailand and also worked in orphanages. I have taught English as a second language to kids in Hong Kong, Thailand and Hunan. There is nothing i can't or won't do.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing!!!! Swimming!! Anything they want to do usually is the funnest.💯

The most important part about being a nanny...

The kids happiness. If there parents can't be there then I want to be the best best thing to them. I make it a priority to make sure the kids are happy.

My experience with special needs children...

I work Friday night to Sunday for my nephew who has 22q. He has had open heart surgery. He was non verbal when I came he now talks and is also now in 1st grade! He also has a G.I. button and is fed thru a machine. I can do anything basically and I love doing it

The most important part about being a nanny...

The best moment ever was when I finally got my special needs nephew to tell me "I Love you" he was non verbal and they said he wouldn't talk. I knew they were wrong! He is now in 1st grade and talking ALL the time. I wanted to show them that he is so much more than what is wrong with him. They discount kids sometimes. Children are resilient and don't know they have limitations unless you tell them they do. ❤️
