A little bit about me

Hello! I’m Shannon and I’m a mom to one 11 yr old. I am 40 years old and I will be finished with my bachelors degree in psychology in June. I have a severely handicapped sister and helped care for her all my life. My daughter is getting older and I’m ready to be working full time again. I am responsible, punctual, empathetic and caring. I’ll treat your children with the love and care I would want someone to treat my daughter with. I am knowledgeable about nutrition as a former personal trainer and I have extensive experience in house cleaning as well. I taught self defense for 10 years and so I am very situationally aware. I currently work in the hospital on the psychiatric unit. The hours are too long and it’s very stressful. I believe using my skills, education and life experience to care for others and help families would be a better fit for my kind and caring personality. I’d love to find a family to serve and have better hours and make meaningful connections. Thank you!

First I am a mother to an amazing 11 year old. I also have a severely handicapped sister whom I’ve cared most my life. I am a former fitness/self defense/nutrition coach. I am finishing my bachelors in psychology in June of this year. I have had many cleaning jobs over the years and actually enjoy it! I can provide proof of covid vaccination. CPR certification, BLS certification through AHA. I am also a nationally certified EMR through the Red Cross.
