A little bit about me

I have always had a deep passion for children and providing childcare. As a mama of three beautiful boys, aged 6, 4, and 2, my heart has always been drawn towards nurturing and guiding little ones. Currently, my husband and I are attending online ministry school, and we are preparing to relocate from Nebraska to the Spring Hill area end of July.

In my search for the perfect opportunity, I am seeking a position that would allow me to stay home with my own children while also caring for another child. Creating a safe and loving environment for little ones to thrive in is my top priority. We will have a single family home in Spring Hill. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have extensive childcare experience starting with babysitting as a high schooler, nannying for several years, volunteering for children’s ministry in church including ages 0-11, as well as raising my own 3 children the past 6 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy watching children learn and grow. In my experience with childcare I have gained extensive knowledge on the different types of play and how critical it is for children to experience all types including: physical, dramatic, sensory, nature, music and art, and age-appropriate play.

I currently homeschool my own children and know how important it is for kids to have both structured and unstructured play. Playing outside, going on adventures, cooking, crafts, and reading are some of my kiddos favorite things to do with me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is first and foremost keeping the child in my care safe. It’s very important to me to connect on a deep level with the child, and build a safe, loving relationship with both the child and their parents. As a mother I know how important it is to trust the person that cares for your children. I value building relationships that allow the parents to relax while they are gone and working, knowing their child is in safe hands.

My experience with special needs children...

My oldest child was born prematurely and because of it had learning and communication delays. Through this I was able to learn how to care for and work for children specifically with occupational and speech delay, along with sensory issues. I learned how to adapt based on their need and have such a passion for children and parents of children with special needs.
