A little bit about me

Hello parents of Lacey and Olympia!

My name is Shayla, and I’m a responsible, caring 17-year-old with a passion for working with kids. I have experience with children from newborns to 13-year-olds. As the oldest of six siblings, including a newborn sister, I understand the patience, attention, and energy that kids need.

I’m a junior in high school and attend classes Friday–Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. I’m available after 2 p.m. until 10 p.m, on school days just until summer, and from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.

I have a driver’s license but no car of my own though I can sometimes borrow my parents vehicle. I’m happy to help with light cleaning, meal prep, and morning or bedtime routines. I’m also fine working in homes with security cameras.
