More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with many different age groups and many different types of learners. During my college years I worked as a dental assistant. I have 25 years of experience in working with children, teaching in children's institutes (stateside and overseas), in an all girls' institute, Sunday School, VBS as well as my private violin/viola/cello students ranging from 4 years old-adult. Over the past 25 years, I have enjoyed teaching strings in a school setting, as well as in my home. I have 16+ years of experience as a nanny/babysitter. I love children and am very patient with them. Also, I have experience working with special needs children. I am very athletic, love anything outdoors, and am an avid hiker. In college, I played soccer and basketball. Archery and hunting have been my hobbies over the past 26 year, and I have recently trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

There’s so many to choose from it’s hard to pick just one but I would have to say I enjoy when the kids tell me they love me and they get excited when I walk through the door and cry when I have to leave for the day and ask when I’m coming back to “play” with them. .
