A little bit about me

Hello,

I have experience caring for my brother who has autism. I have also cared for a 14 year old boy who had Autism and Down syndrome. I was helped feed them, take them to activities like church and the movies, as well as helping them with everyday tasks.

I nannied for a set of twins. They were 9 years old at the time. I was in charge of making them dinner, preparing their lunch for school, and helping with homework. I also did light housekeeping for their family and helped with their puppy.

I am a first time mother to a 3 month old boy. My goal is to be able to bring him with me to work, but am willing to discuss other options!

I have reliable transportation, and depending on the age of your child and your comfortability, I wouldn't mind bringing them to appointments, playdates, parks, etc.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in respite for two years and helped with a 13 year old with Down syndrome and autism who didn’t progress after toddler skill set. I have experience with changing diapers, meal preparations, and assisting with medication.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m open to doing whatever the child/children would like to do or what the parents would like. I am open to take the kids outside for outdoor activities, indoor activities like movies, arts and crafts, etc...

I was a respite care giver to a child with autism and Down syndrome. I also have a brother who has autism. I’ve helped care for my brother and have given him as much care and support needed when my dad needed the help.
