Greetings,
My name is Shelby and I provide child care services. I’m seeking for an employer in need of these services and light housekeeping. I am also capable of supervising education, providing you with my references, as well as a reliable form of transportation.

I offer my child care services to employers with a maximum of four children. I am able to care for children from as young as infants to as old as teenagers. I have availability on the weekends from the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm and on Thursdays from the hours of 6:00am-3:00pm. My rate of payment is $12.00 per hour. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I previously babysat for two other sets of parents. One set of parents, in particular, has three children, two of which are in primary school and were homeschooled, in which I was responsible for enforcing their education and tutoring them if necessary. The third child was in diapers and I was responsible for preparing his meals, regular diaper changes, enforcing his potty training, and that he had proper playtime.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have experience in sports such as basketball, softball, and soccer. I enjoy participating in hide and seek but unfortunately I am not proficient in a game of tag, lol.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most significant part in becoming a nanny is attentiveness. I believe that one should not only care for the child’s dietary and supervisory needs, but their sociable needs as well. I believe in a loving and comfortable environment for every child.

My experience with special needs children...

I have only ever cared for one child with autism. I have two younger first cousins among the autism spectrum. I have learned how to interact with them according to each of their needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have many favorite moments with the children I have provided care for, however if I were to pick a particular moment, It would have to be the time I made cookies with two children I previously nannied. It was Christmas time and their parents allowed me to spoil them with pizza, cookies, and classic Christmas movies. They were excited to help with the baking process and that they were allowed to stay up past their usual bedtime (parents approved).
