Safety is super important to me. I always want the children to know they are safe with me. I also want parents to know that their children are in good hands. Sometimes parents have to be away for some time everyday and I know it can be stressful. I also like education to be involved as well. Learning something new can always be fun 😊
My experience with special needs children...
I was a peer buddy in high school. Sometimes it is easier for special needs children to understand material 1-on-1. That’s were peer buddies came in. We would help explain material, play games, and just spend time with our classmates. I haven’t been a special needs nanny before, but I’m always looking for a family to start with!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment I have had would be when a child I had been spending time with could write his own name! We had been practicing writing out the alphabet together, and when I came back to his house... he showed me how he was able to write out his name by himself! It was such a sweet moment that will always be with me!
