Hi! My name is Shelby, and I recently moved to the area in November. I have over 9 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. For the past 5 years, I worked in a special education preschool classroom, where I cared for children with a wide range of behavioral and educational needs. This role gave me strong skills in patience, adaptability, and understanding the unique needs of each child. Prior to that, I worked in an after-school childcare program with children ages 7–10, providing support with homework, activities, and daily routines. I’m comfortable with all aspects of child care, including diapering, and I’ve worked with children from infancy through elementary school.I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for kids to grow and thrive in, and I always strive to build strong, trusting relationships with both the children and their families.Im looking for something more full time but not opposed to help nights/ weekends
