"Shelia has been with us since 1999 - longer than my youngest! Prior to working for us, Shelia was a preschool teacher. Shelia seamlessly transitioned all of those skills and talents - patience, caring, arts and crafts, storytelling, alertness (very important when the then oldest of 4 kids was only 7). For many years, Shelia accompanied us on all family vacations. Having 3 parents to watch over our rambunctious crowd definitely made our trips far more enjoyable for everyone. Shelia easily and respectfully shared all parts of our home - kitchen, laundry, nursery, kids’ rooms etc. It was a pleasure to work shoulder to shoulder with her. Shelia’s presence allowed me to be the parent I had always hoped to be to each one of my kids. While I am deeply saddened that it’s time for Shelia to move on, I am hopeful that she can she can share her many talents with another family. Accordingly, I recommend Shelia wholeheartedly and without reservation. "

"Shelia is, in short, the Super Nanny! We were so fortunate to find her when we had four very young children with our fifth on the way. We had three nannies before her all of whom could not handle a large active family and were soon let go. As you can see from her dates of employment she was such a blessing that we kept her on until our youngest went off to college! Shelia is loving, hardworking, honest and caring - everything you could ever want in a nanny. Once she knows how you want things, she makes sure that’s how they’re done. "Shelia is the best second mom around. She helped raise me and my four siblings (I am the eldest) from when I was 7 years old. We are all two years apart, the youngest wasn’t born yet, and it was organized chaos to say the least. Shelia is a calming presence and is, and will always be, a part of my family. She is extremely hard working, always ready to make you laugh, and gives the best hugs. With adults she is sometimes shy and quiet, but she lights up with children, all ages. I would highly recommend her to any family, please treat her well, she will love your kids like her own. She does have two dogs. When I lived at my parents house and when I come to visit, I BARELY see them. I have currently been here for a week helping my parents move to a smaller house, and I have not seen them once. They are highly trained (she doesn’t need to put them on a leash; they listen to her every word). Shelia is also a fantastic cook. She keeps to herself and would be a great addition to your family. "
